A beloved Swannanoa Valley tradition filled with lights, laughter, and holiday cheer.
Holly Jolly in the Swannanoa Valley
Holly Jolly is one of the most cherished traditions in the Swannanoa Valley. Each year, locals, businesses, non-profits, schools, government partners, and visitors come together to celebrate the season.
The festivities take place on the first Friday and Saturday of December, with the Parade closing out the weekend on Saturday night.
This year introduces the Christmas Window Display Competition, complete with a visitor map that guides guests throughout the month of December to enjoy the decorated storefronts.
You’ll find music, dancing, food trucks, visits with Santa, and plenty of activities hosted by Chamber member businesses.
Join us on Friday, December 5 at 5 p.m. and all day Saturday for two days of holiday cheer in the heart of the Valley.

We also must thank our Platinum Chamber Champions — Givens Estates, PC Productions, and the Town of Black Mountain — whose support helps make the festival and all the functions of the Chamber possible throughout the year.
